The pocket (1) has a lubricant container wall (5) including a flexible and/or expandable material e.g. polyamide, polyethylene and polyurethane, and defining a storage volume of the pocket from all sides. The container wall surrounds a lubricant present in the storage volume, which is variable, and is formed as a gaiter (7) or as expandable kettle. An access opening (3) is formed as a screw cap, as plug-in connection, as bayonet joint or a part of hydraulic coupling. A flat flexible handle (9) is arranged at an upper end of the pocket. An independent claim is also included for a lubricant container comprising a base plate.
