The transmission (2) has a gear wheel (8) with two helical teething (9, 10). The gear wheel is in engagement with a set of gear wheels (12, 13). A set of helical-toothed gear wheels (21, 22) is connected to the set of gear wheels in a rotationally and axially fixed manner. Another set of helical-toothed gear wheels (24, 25) is in engagement with the former set of helical-toothed gear wheels. The helical-toothed gear wheels of the latter set are connected one below the other in a rotationally and axially fixed manner and are together movable in an axial direction.
