The method involves extruding multiple of filaments from a thermoplastic melt using a spinning nozzle (3), and cooling of filaments using a cooling device (6). The filaments are combined into a filament bundle (5), via a collecting thread guide (9), drawn at a speed exceeding 1500 meter/minute. The filament bundle is heated to a temperature exceeding a glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic material, and drawn at a drawing speed in a range exceeding 4000 meter/minute. The filament bundle is prepared using a preparation fluid, and the thread is wound up into a package. An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing the method for melt-spinning, drawing, and winding the multifilament to form the fully drawn yarn.
