<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen having good viewing angle characteristics and capable of improving contrast in projected light by reducing influences by reflection of external light. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The screen 10 has a fine concavo-convex structure on the surface of the screen in such a manner that the screen, when installed, has such viewing angle characteristics as broad in a horizontal direction and well balanced. Even when the screen has a prism structure in Fresnel arrangement, projected light PL can be diffused and reflected at appropriate viewing angles in the horizontal direction. By arranging prisms 2 in a Fresnel pattern, that is, in arcs, the screen does not reflect external light OL from above and can form an image with high contrast even when used in a bright room or the like.
