<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a booklet manufacturing apparatus which can achieve the automatic mounting of a paper-made booklet by a mechanical means. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The booklet manufacturing apparatus includes: a stage 17 to be mounted with a booklet body 18; and a lift 11 allowing a pawl-shaped part 20 to progress into the binding hole 18a of the booklet body 18 and mounting the paper-made booklet 19 to the booklet body 18. The lift 11 includes a projecting part 13a pressing the pawl-shaped part 20 in a curved state from the inside and preventing it from being rounded unnecessarily small. The stage 17 includes a guide face 17c pressing the pawl-shaped part 20 from the outside and preventing it from being opened unnecessarily widely. The lift 11 moves toward the binding body 18 together with the paper-made booklet 19 in a state that the pawl-shaped part 20 is pressed from the inside by the projecting part 13a and also the pawl-shaped part 20 is pressed from the outside by the guide face 17c, and allows the pawl-shaped part 20 to progress into the binding hole 18a.
