PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid oral composition for a pet animal which is excellent in usability (firmness of composition, dispersity and ease of scrubbing on tooth plane), can skillfully be spread and administered on the tooth plane and the gingiva of the pet animal, also demonstrates a high plaque removing effect stably mixed with dextranase, has both a chemically removing effect and a mechanically removing effect of plaque, is also excellent in palatability, and further, thereby, is useful for prevention or medical treatment of periodontal disease and bad breath by applying it into the oral cavity of the pet animal such as a dog or a cat. SOLUTION: The liquid oral composition for the pet animal contains polyglyceryl fatty acid ester (A), dextranase (B), leaf alcohol (C), a water-soluble polymer substance (D), and water (E).
