An optical device for measuring luminescence comprises a pulse generator (3) for generating a periodic modulation signal with square pulses, the pulse width of the pulses being variably adjustable, illumination means (18) for illuminating a test object (1) with an excitation radiation (A) which is modulated in a pulse-type manner depending on the modulation signal, and a runtime camera (2) for the phase-sensitive detection of a luminescence response (F) given by the test object (1) in response to the excitation radiation (A), the runtime camera (2) being supplied with the modulation signal as the reference signal. |
