摘要 <p>Provided is a catalyst for pyrolysis of organic substances that comprises spherical granules with a grain size of 0.1-1.2 mm, a pore volume of 0.1-0.3 mL/g, a tap density of 1.05-1.4 g/mL, and an abrasion rate of 2wt% or lower, which is prepared by forming a crushed product of an organic oxide, as represented by titanium oxide, into spherical particles by means of agitation granulation in the presence of at least one type of sol selected from titania sol, silica sol, alumina sol, and zirconia sol, then baking the granules at a temperature in the range of 400-850°C, and sieving. When waste plastic or organic substances contained in medical waste are heated together with such a catalyst, the aforementioned waste plastic or organic substances can be decomposed and gasified efficiently.</p>
