Provided are a xenon adsorbent that is formed from silver ion-exchanged ZSM5 zeolite and is for adsorbing xenon from an ambient-temperature starting gas containing xenon but not containing carbon monoxide, and a method for enriching xenon comprising an adsorption step wherein ambient-temperature starting gas containing xenon but not containing carbon monoxide is passed through an adsorption tower in which silver ion-exchanged ZSM5 zeolite has been packed and a desorption step for desorbing the xenon by pressure reduction or heating, wherein these two steps are alternately repeated.
