<p>An imaging system is provided with a light emission unit for emitting first illumination light and second illumination light to a subject, an imaging unit for imaging first return light from the subject corresponding to the first illumination light and second return light from the subject corresponding to the second illumination light and outputting the imaged first return light and second return light as an imaging signal, an image generation unit for generating a first image corresponding to the first return light and a second image corresponding to the second return light on the basis of the imaging signal, a differential value calculation unit for calculating a first differential value corresponding to the first image and a second differential value corresponding to the second image, a computation unit for performing computation processing using the first differential value and the second differential value, and a region discrimination unit for discriminating between a predetermined region and a region other than the predetermined region in the subject by performing threshold processing on the result of the computation by the computation unit.</p> |
