USER DEVICE AND CELL SEARCH METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user device and a cell search method capable of shortening a time needed for cell search.

SOLUTION: The user device for using a synchronization channel including a primary synchronization channel and a secondary synchronization channel to perform cell search includes: a means for receiving a signal including a synchronization channel; a means for detecting a correlation of a time domain between the signal received by the receiving means and a replica signal of the primary synchronization channel, and detecting a candidate for symbol timing of a plurality of synchronizing signals from the synchronization channel on the basis of the correlation; a means for performing correlation detection of the secondary synchronization channel on the basis of the candidate for the symbol timing of the plurality of synchronizing signals; and a means for detecting the secondary synchronization channel on the basis of a result of the correlation detection.
