<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file access management system capable of preventing the leakage of file information after a file exchanged by utilizing a network is stored in the terminal of a file receiver. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this file access system, a file management server includes a file storage means for storing a plurality of files. An access management server includes an access right information storage means for storing access right information to each of a plurality of files stored in the file storage means. A file reception terminal, which receives a file from the file management server, includes a connection file creation means for, when it is decided that the user of the file reception terminal acquired from the access right information storage means is able to acquire the file based on the access right information of the file whose acquisition has been instructed by the user and the attributes of the user, creating a connection file in which the file acquired from the file storage means and access right information to the file and the position information of the file are connected.
