PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a decline in magnetic efficiency due to a gap between core units. SOLUTION: A motor 1 includes a stator 3 and a rotor. The stator 3 is equipped with a stator core 7 made by stacking annular core backs 9a and 9b and core units 5A and 5B with a plurality of teeth 11a and 11b arranged, being spaced apart, in the peripheral direction, in the thickness direction so that the teeth 11a and 11b may be arranged at different phase positions; and coils 13 wound around individual teeth 11b. The rotor 23 includes a magnet 27 with magnetic poles whose polarities alternate in the peripheral direction. The teeth 11a and 11b of the core units 5A and 5B are arranged such that, while the rotor 23 is rotated once with respect to the stator 3, a state that one tooth 11a and 11b and the other two teeth 11a and 11b face the magnetic poles of different polarities of the magnet 27 at the same time is more likely to occur than a state that all three teeth 11a and 11b adjacent in the peripheral direction in the respective core units 5A and 5B face the magnetic poles of the same polarity of the magnet.
