<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a characteristic-balancing effect when a different setting is used while keeping a diversity effect when settings of all tuner parts are made identical. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This diversity reception device includes at least: a first branch including a first signal processing part for inputting a first signal thereto, and a first signal quality detection part configured to detect a signal quality value on the output side of the first signal processing part; a second branch including a second signal processing part for inputting a second signal thereto, and a second signal quality detection part configured to detect a signal quality value on the output side of the second signal processing part; and a control part configured to control operation modes of the first and second signal processing parts based on the first signal quality value detected by the first signal quality detection part and the second signal quality value detected by the second signal quality detection part.
