A grid (15) to be mounted on a housing of an electrical connector. The grid comprises at least one though holes (35) for inserting a cable comprising a wire and a terminal. The through hole defines a passageway with a chicane designed so as to allow the insertion of the terminal but limiting movements of the wire in the grid, once the terminal in its final position, i.e. accommodated in a housing cavity.
