<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce operation sound of a control valve while suppressing influence to brake responsiveness. <P>SOLUTION: The brake control device is provided with a detection system including at least one sensor provided so as to be followed to the vehicle; a solenoid control valve provided on a liquid pressure circuit for controlling braking force given to the vehicle; and a control part for opening/closing the solenoid control valve by giving a control current according to a first current profile ensuring that the solenoid control valve is opened/closed by required control responsiveness. The control part determined whether or not reduction of control responsiveness of the solenoid control valve is allowed based on output from the detection system, and when it is determined that reduction of control responsiveness is allowed, it gives the control current to the solenoid control valve according to a second current profile adjusted so as to reduce the operation sound of the solenoid control valve than the first current profile. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
