PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure for a segment ring capable of transmitting an axial force in a leg portion of the segment ring and also improving strength of the segment ring by dispersing bending moment and stress generated by the bending moment. SOLUTION: The joint structure 10 for a flat segment ring 2 in a tunnel-leg portion K1 which locates obliquely downward in view from the cross section of the flat segment ring 2 built in a shield tunnel is provided. In a joined end 22a of a sidewall part 22 of the segment, a male joint 11 having a protruded curved surface 11a protruding outwardly to the outside of the joined end 22a and extending in the tunnel direction is provided. Also, in a joined end 21a of the leg portion segment 21, a female joint 12 having a dented curved surface 12a denting inwardly to the inside of the joined end 21a and extending in the tunnel direction is provided. Furthermore, the curvature of the protruded curved surface 11a of the male joint 11 is slightly larger than the curvature of the dented curved surface 12a of the female joint 12.
