PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device for displaying an image having many display lines. SOLUTION: The plasma display device includes a plurality of sustain discharge electrodes, a plurality of scan electrodes, a plurality of address electrodes, and a scan electrode drive circuit for sequentially outputting a scan pulse to the plurality of scan electrodes. The scan electrode drive circuit includes a first capacity (C1) connected between a first node and a second node, a first diode (D1) connected between a node of a first potential and the first node, a first scan driver (SC1) connected to the first scan electrode of the plurality of scan electrodes, a second scan driver (SC2) connected to the second scan electrode different from the first scan electrode, of the plurality of scan electrodes, and scan pulse potential switch circuits (SW3-SW5, and SW7) for selectively outputting the first scan pulse potential and the second scan pulse potential to the second node.
