<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize degradation and damage of coil end caused by collision of cooling oil which is scattered from the rotor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In at least one 113 of end plates which hold the rotor core 112 from the axial direction, a guide path b of cooling oil is formed to open at the first outlet c of the end plate 113. During rotation of a rotary electric machine 1, the cooling oil in a supply path (a) is scattered from the first outlet c to a coil end 123 by centrifugal force thus cooling a coil 122. In the end plate 113, a branch path d from the guide path b is formed to open at a second outlet f on the radial inside of the first outlet c, and excessive cooling oil is discharged from the second outlet f.
