<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting a target molecule in high precision using a label without influencing affinity of an aptamer for the target molecule when the target molecule is detected by using a nucleic acid to be specifically bound with the target molecule. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for detecting a target molecule by using a nucleic acid to be specifically bound with the target molecule includes (a) a process for forming a complex of the target molecule, a first nucleic acid and a second nucleic acid to which a label is added and (b) a process for detecting the complex formed by the process (a) by measuring a signal sent from the label. The first nucleic acid has an aptamer region to be specifically bound with the target molecule and a binding region with the second nucleic acid and the second nucleic acid has a binding region with the first nucleic acid.
