PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool preventing loosing of a fan for cooling a brushless DC motor and easily correcting rotating balance. SOLUTION: This power tool has: a rotor core 2 mounted on a rotation axis 12 and to store a permanent magnet; the brushless DC motor having a stator positioned in an outer periphery of the rotor core 2; and the fan 13 for cooling mounted on the rotation axis 12. A plurality of recessed parts are formed on an end surface on the side of the fan 13 in the axial direction of the rotor core 2, a sleeve 14 on which a protruded part and a recessed part are formed is arranged between the rotor core 2 and the fan 13, the protruded part of the sleeve 14 is fitted in the recessed part of the rotor core 2, and the recessed part of the sleeve 14 is fitted on the protruded part formed on the fan 13. An outer surface part 14d having prescribed length in the axial direction is formed on the sleeve 14 and a groove for correcting the balance is provided on the outer surface part 14d.
