<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent developing characteristics from deteriorating caused by deterioration of a carrier of a two-component developer and to stabilize the bulk of the developer. <P>SOLUTION: A buffer portion 42 is provided for accumulating extra developer discharged from a case 33. A first and a second opening 43, 44 communicating the case 33 with the buffer portion 42 are formed to discharge the extra developer to the buffer portion 42 depending on the bulk of the developer 34 in the case 33 or, if the bulk of the developer 34 in the case 33 decreases, to take the developer 46 in the buffer portion 42 into the case 33. The buffer portion 42 is formed with a discharge opening 47 located above the first and second openings 43, 44, to discharge a part of the developer accumulated in the buffer portion 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
