<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP telephone terminal having a data transfer function for permitting/restricting access by providing an opportunity to confirm a user (operator) in addition to authentication based on terminal unique information of the IP telephone terminal and limiting an accessible range in each individual data terminal. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The IP telephone terminal is provided with an information transferring means for transferring information between data terminals connected to an interface for data terminal connection, and a means for collating an ID received from the opposite terminal, and further makes the information transferring means effective during speech communication and in an automatic answering mode by performing a specific operation while the IP telephone terminal communicates with the opposite IP telephone terminal and in the automatic answering mode.
