PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive waste steam recovering device surely sucking waste steam instantaneously generated in large amounts. SOLUTION: In this waste steam recovering device, a vacuum tank 2 is connected to a waste steam passage 1 through a valve 8. A steam condensate tank 6 is connected to a lower part of the vacuum tank 2. Steam ejectors 4, 15 are connected to an upper part of the steam condensate tank 6 through a connection pipe 7. A high pressure steam pipe 12 is connected to an inlet side of the steam ejectors 4, 15, and an intermediate pressure steam pipe 13 is connected to its outlet side. A large amount of waste steam generated at the lower part of a waste steam collecting port 3 is surely sucked into the vacuum tank 2 kept under a prescribed pressure state by fully opening the valve 8 of the waste steam passage 1.
