<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data format for causing stored image data to be measured, image data, a measuring program and a measuring device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This image data format is obtained in such a manner that a specimen observed by means of a microscope is imaged by using a camera. The image data have, as an image data format, an effective pixel number of a CCD provided on the camera, an image size to be stored, a pixel pitch of the CCD and a magnification of an optical system of the microscope which are correlated with each other.
