<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expired gas measuring device capable of performing continuous measurement of expired gas by preventing dew condensation on the detection surface of a gas sensor, and an expired gas measurement method. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The expired gas measuring device 10 includes: an expired gas inlet 21 for blowing in expired gas 50; an expired gas passage 20 that communicates with the expired gas inlet 21 while the expired gas 50 that has been blown in is circulated; a gas sensor 30 for detecting a prescribed water-soluble gas constituent included in the expired gas 50 while a detection surface 32 is exposed to and provided in the expired gas passage 20; and a drying means 40 for air-drying the detection surface 32 by heated gas.
