With regard to a grip roller (12) out of a pair of upper and lower grip rollers (11, 12) arranged in the upstream and downstream while holding the cutting part of an optical film (F) between, the central axis (C) of an upper roller (12b) is shifted from the central axis (L) of a drive roller (12a) in the direction receding from the cutting part. Grip timing of a polarization film (F) by the downstream grip roller (12b) is delayed by lowering both grip rollers (11b, 12a) simultaneously at the time of cutting the polarization film (F), and the polarization film (F) is pulled by the grip roller (12) in the direction receding from the cutting part and thereby a tension is imparted. Under that state, the polarization film (F) is cut by means of a laser device (10).
