A method of extracting a gene expression data set which comprises running: the input receiving step wherein the input of a data set consisting of at least two groups having gene expression vectors, one of which is input as a standard group while the other is input as a test group, is received; the type identification step wherein a gene expression vector in a data set in gene expression database is identified as classified into whether the standard group or the test group of the data received in the input receiving step; the degree of similarity to the standard group determining step of, in the case where the gene expression vector is identified as the standard group type, determining whether or not the gene expression vector is similar to the gene expression vector belonging to the standard group of the data set received in the input receiving step; and the degree of similarity to the test group determining step of, in the case where the gene expression vector is identified as the test group type, determining whether or not the gene expression vector is similar to the gene expression vector belonging to the test group of the data set received in the input receiving step.
