<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device which generates a transfer voltage without fail. <P>SOLUTION: The image-forming device includes: a photoreceptor 28 which carries on it a developer image, which is developed with a developer, by making use of electrification; a transfer roller 14 which transfers the developer image on a recording medium in response to the application of a transfer voltage Vt; an application means 55 which generates the transfer voltage Vt and applies the transfer voltage Vt to the transfer roller 14; and current-restricting means (40 and 60) which restrict a current Ir which is generated, due to the electrification of the photoreceptor 28, between the photoreceptor 28 and the application means 55. When the application means 55 is started up, the current-restricting means (40 and 60) increase the resistance between the photoreceptor 28 and the application means 55 compared with the ordinary one to decrease the current Ir caused by the electrification of the photoreceptor 28. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
