PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compatibly satisfy high output by the assured venturi diameter of a carburetor of an engine and warming-up re-startability. SOLUTION: In the carburetor 1A, the fuel force-fed from a fuel tank through a fuel pipe 6 serving as a fuel supply passage is introduced into a constant fuel chamber 11, and fed to an intake passage 4 by a main nozzle 14 extending from a main well of a columnar body 12 extending vertically in the constant fuel chamber 11 to the intake passage 4. The fuel pipe 6 includes a fuel passage 15A branched on the upstream side of the constant fuel chamber 11 for starting to supply an additional fuel for starting to the engine. A shutoff valve 16A normally closed and opened during the start of the engine is disposed in the fuel passage 15A for starting. The fuel amount shorted during the start of the engine is supplemented by force-feeding the additional fuel to the intake passage 4 through the fuel passage 15A for starting.
