PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peephole able to remove a limit on a plate thickness for an airtight wall and able to achieve simplified replacement of an atmosphere indicating memberor the like and to provide a hermetic container. SOLUTION: A glass plate 12 is air tightly held to have humidity indicating paper 30 disposed on the hold member 13. The humidity indicating paper 30 is pressed by a pressing metal fitting 17, thereby configuring the peephole 10.
