PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory control circuit and a semiconductor integrated circuit for always properly receiving data from a memory device regardless of variation of manufacturing process. SOLUTION: The memory control circuit and the semiconductor integrated circuit discriminate whether or not the time has come to acquire data by monitoring a clock signal and maintains a significant state of a data strobe signal until it is determined that the time has come.
