The invention relates to a device and a method for drying the interior of solar modules. The device and the method are particularly well suited fro concentrator photovoltaic (CPV) modules. The drying device comprises an adsorber for drying and a heating element for heating a permeating gas and is connected to a solar cell by means of a connector, so that the dried gas is fed into the solar cell.
