A method for the surgical correction of VATER association in the newborns provides for the surgical intervention. Within the first 24 hours of the postnatal life, the colostoma is applied for eliminating the ileus. Within the following 48 hours, atresia of the esophagus is corrected. Then the radical surgery is performed due to anorectal atresia and colostoma closure within the first year of the life. |
