The seat (1) has a seat cushion (4) comprising a cushion frame that is longitudinally-displaceable over a pivot bearing in a guide, which is connected with a motor vehicle independent of a backrest (3). The guide has telescopic rails, over which the guide is extendable into a moving direction. The guide has locking points, over which the cushion is fixable in a longitudinal direction along the guide. The pivot bearing is formed such that the cushion is fixable in swiveling positions. The cushion frame is made of metal. The rails comprise a stopper for delimitation in the moving direction.
