The insert has a metallic body (1) comprising an opening (8) at its front side for displaceable, drawer-type accommodation of a tub-shaped pullout part (2) with side walls. The pullout part accommodates fuel, and has a bar (4) horizontally bypassing the side walls and spaced from a base of the pullout part. A recess (5) for accommodating a fuel container (6) is provided in the bar, and the body has a cover surface (7) closing a surface of the body except the opening complementary to the recess. The opening and recess congruently lie over each other in an operating condition of the insert.
