The compressor assembly has an assembly carrier (16) arranged in a vehicle. A water-injected screw compressor (10) for compressing air is arranged in the assembly carrier. The compressor is connected to a compressed air inlet (50) of the vehicle. A fluid circuit (12) cools and lubricates the compressor. The fluid circuit supplies water or mixture of water and oil-free additive as an injection medium to the compressor. A storage tank (28) stores the injection medium and is connected to the compressor at a suction side. The storage tank is arranged outside the fluid circuit.
