PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook for a hanging work with a stopper which is capable of safely executing the opening/closing work, and easily executing the opening/closing work. SOLUTION: The hook for the hanging work comprises an arc-shaped hook body 1, a stopper 2 for closing an opening part in front of the hook body 1, and a trigger 3 for keeping the opening/closing condition of the hook. The hook body 1 and the stopper 2 are turnably attached to each other by the same shaft 4. A connecting ring 5 is provided on an upper end of the stopper 2. The trigger 3 is located behind the hook body 1, turnably shaft-attached to the hook body 1, and spring-biased so as to keep the stopper 2 at the opening position or the closed position.
