<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device of a combination type which has high abrasion resistance, which can handle pressure from both sides with one device, which is excellent in eccentric following performance. <P>SOLUTION: This sealing device is fitted into an annular groove 61 provided in a piston 60 with a sliding ring 2 and rubbery elastomer rings 3 combined. The sliding ring 2 is structured with a ring body part 21 stored inside the groove 61 and a pair of lip parts 22, 23 extending from the end of the open end side of the groove of the ring main part 21 to both sides in the axial direction. Two rubbery elastomer rings 3 are provided. Each of the rubbery elastomer rings 3, 3 is inserted in two spaces between side surfaces opposite to each other in the axial direction of the ring main part 21 and facing side surfaces inside the groove in the axial direction.
