PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray tomography method and apparatus which have a panorama imaging mode and a CT imaging mode switched to each other and having the same common trajectory of rotary arm moving means. SOLUTION: Even when the panorama imaging mode and the CT imaging mode are switched to each other, and has the common image forming trajectory of the rotary arm moving means in panorama imaging and CT imaging, the time and labor of a user for displacing a sensor before imaging can be eliminated, and further, the rotary arm moving means is configured by rotations only.
