PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping apparatus for preventing separation, when a circumferential wall penetration crack is generated on a weld zone position of an elbow of a core spray line. SOLUTION: A clamp assembly 20 is installed that can be remotely installed to structurally fix a weld zone that join a short radius elbow 17 to a core spray horizontal pipe and a vertical downcomer pipe 18 in the core spray line 10. The clamp assembly 20 includes three subassemblies, a horizontal pipe clamp subassembly 22, an elbow restraint subassembly 24, and a downcomer pipe subassembly 26. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
