<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal separator which dispenses with operating procedures for storing, retaining and managing unnecessary data. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The centrifugal separator indicates a switch from a white circle (○) to a black circle for an item to be recorded as an audit trail and registers an item as a recorded item, by touching the item of the screen 300 where the item to be recorded as an audit trail is set. Further, the separator eliminates the item registered as a recorded item (black circle) with the switch back to the white circle (○), by touching the item. For example, when [START button ON] of an item 301 regarding the operation turns to the black circle, the time when the start button 268 is depressed, is recorded. On the other hand, when [time change] of the management item 302 other than the operation of the centrifugal separator 1, turns to the black circle, the time when the operating duration changes, the operating duration before the change and the operating duration after the change are recorded.
