PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for a flexible tube, which does not have a tendency to allow leakage of fluid therefrom. SOLUTION: The joint 10 for the flexible tube includes: a joint body 20; an elastically-deformable seal material 22 which is accommodated in the joint body 20; a press ring 24 connected to an insertion port 40 of the joint body 20; and a come-off prevention mechanism arranged between the rear end of the seal material 22 and the tip of the press ring 24. The flexible tube 300 is inserted into the joint body 20 through a pipe penetration hole 36 of the press ring 24. The seal material 22 provides sealing between the external peripheral face of the flexible tube 300 and the internal peripheral face of the joint body 20. The come-off prevention mechanism prevents the flexible tube 300 inserted into the joint body 20 from coming off from the joint body 20. A protrusion 50 is formed at the internal peripheral side of the seal material 22. The protrusion 50 is engaged with a tough part 312 of the flexible tube 300 while getting over a mountain part 310 of the flexible pipe 300. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
