The device has a fuel reservoir (1) and a high-pressure pump (2), which are connected via a suction line (3). A dosing valve (4) adjusts cross section of the suction line. A rail (5) receives high pressure-subjected fuel. A pressure control valve (6) controls pressure in the rail. The dosing valve and the pressure control valve are provided in a common housing (7). The dosing valve and the pressure control valve comprise closing members e.g. balls (4.1, 6.1), respectively. The closing members are connected together in a rigid manner and are movable on a corresponding movement axis (14).
