The terminal has an electrical line (10) provided with a sealing unit (20) and a litz wire bundle (12), and an external insulation (14) surrounding the wire bundle, where the line is made of injection moldable thermoplastic elastomer. The sealing unit projects into an interior of the insulation as an infiltrate of the wire bundle such that an inner infiltrated litz wire bundle section (18) arranged within the insulation seals the interior of the insulation in a fluid-tight manner. The wire bundle section is arranged at a terminal side of the insulation and attached to the insulation. The sealing unit is made of natural rubber material embedded in polyamide matrix or polyolefin matrix. An independent claim is also included for a method for sealing electrical connecting cables in connection terminals.
