<p>The device has a pair of connecting terminals (101, 103) for electrically connecting a diode assembly i.e. LED, and a signal generator (105) for producing terminal voltage over the pair of connecting terminals, where the terminal voltage is smaller than normal voltage of a diode circuit. A measuring device (107) is parallely and electrically connected with the pair of connecting terminals, where the measuring device has a measuring resistor (109) with a temperature dependent resistance value indicating temperature of the diode assembly. An independent claim is also included for a method for detecting temperature of a diode assembly.</p> |
