The vehicle seat (1) has a support pipe (6) provided as a support structure and horizontally projecting in a wall area of a passenger transportation vehicle, where the support pipe is fixed at the vehicle seat. A support profile i.e. lug (5), encloses the support pipe. The support profile is slidable over the support pipe and is fixed opposite to the support pipe. A seat shell (2) comprises a seat (3) and a backrest (4). The lug is formed in an area between the seat and the backrest at a side that is turned away from the seat.
