<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle display device enabling selection of browsing of useful contents with little burden on a user. <P>SOLUTION: The operating time of a vehicle are stored in a use time data storage section 14, and the use time zone of the vehicle of the user is obtained from the history. When contents information received via an antenna 17 and a receiving section 18 is received, it is stored in the contents information storage section 13. When a service indicated by the contents information is usable in the use time zone of the vehicle, the fact of the receipt is notified, for instance, by a display 23. When a display instruction is issued from the user, the contents data are displayed on a display 23.
