<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect presence/absence of a combination recommendation device so as to change the information of a video/audio output at the time of activation. <P>SOLUTION: When any combination recommended device is not detected, a video-audio output A is outputted in S6. The video/audio output A is a screen and/or sound displaying a product name or the like of a device 1B as a combination recommended device. Presence/absence of the combination recommended device is determined in S7 on the basis of a flag. In a case where any combination recommended device is not present, a video/audio output C is outputted in S9. The video/audio output C presents a voice message prompting a user to purchase the combination recommended device. When a device 1A is initiated in a state where a device 1B that is the combination recommended device 1B is connected, the video/audio output A is outputted in S6 and a video/audio output B is outputted in S8.
