<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human monoclonal antibody which binds to and inhibits human B lymphocyte surface antigen CD20, and to provide a method for utilizing the antibody. <P>SOLUTION: The human CD20 monoclonal antibody can be produced by a transfectoma or in a non-human transgenic animal, producing multiple isotypes of human monoclonal antibodies by undergoing V-D-J recombination and isotype switching.
